Gold Cup Sports-fishing Tournament (October) – get your lures ready a week ahead of time at this sport fishing tourney, which leads up to Cabo San Lucas' foremost angling competition – the Bisbee's Black & Blue Marlin Jackpot Tournament.

Bisbee's Black & Blue Marlin Jackpot Tournament (late October) – is Cabo San Lucas' premiere angling competition.

Festival of San Lucas (March) - This 11-day extravaganza honors Cabo's Patron Saint – St. Joseph. The free event festivities commence with evening street festivities, dancing and music on March 8th of every year. Over the next two weeks the festival continues in downtown Cabo San Lucas with carnivals and parades, as well as food venues wiping up freshly made tamales and tacos. Admission is free.

Festival Del Pilar (October) – It's worth the drive to Todos Santos – a sleepy artists' enclave located only an hour north of Cabo San Lucas. Todos Santos offers this weeklong delight each year in order to bid the summer farewell. During the festival the streets are closed to through-traffic so that merrymakers can browse the local artisans' exhibits. Here you may find leather goods, Mexican handcrafted pottery, carnival foods, live music and dancing.
